📦 Shipping Policy
At Open Hand Learning, we strive to get your orders out quickly, safely, and with care. Each order is packed by hand by a small, one-woman business 💛
⏱️ Processing & Dispatch Time
Orders are processed within 2 days unless otherwise stated. Handmade items may require longer lead times.
We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours (2 business days) of your order being placed (excluding weekends and public holidays). Please Note orders from Friday 12pm, weekend and Monday are shipped out Tuesday 2pm.
Busy Bags are typically dispatched within this timeframe.
If you select Express Shipping, your order will be prioritised and dispatched the next business day.
Orders may be packed during the day or in the evening. Orders packed at night will be dispatched with the next available pickup.

We offer flat-rate shipping of $10.95 for all orders.

🚚 Delivery & Tracking
We ship exclusively with Australia Post using standard delivery with tracking.
You will receive a tracking number once your parcel has been booked for dispatch.
We have regular Australia Post collections throughout the week, with parcels collected at approximately 2:00pm (AWST).
Please note:

Tracking may not update immediately after you receive your confirmation

Parcels may not be scanned until later that afternoon or evening
If you have received your tracking number, your parcel has been packed, collected, and is on its way.
For the most accurate updates, we recommend entering your tracking number into the Australia Post app or website.

As a growing small business, I truly appreciate your patience and support. Every order is packed by hand, and while I always aim to dispatch as quickly as possible, there may occasionally be slight delays during busy periods.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for parcels sent to incorrect addresses.

Once your parcel has been collected by Australia Post, it is no longer in our control. We are not liable for delays caused by Australia Post.

You may receive your tracking number before your parcel is scanned. This simply means your order has been packed and collected.

Damaged or missing parcels must be reported directly to Australia Post. We are unable to lodge claims on your behalf.
